Question new to airsoft

hey yall, I'm fresh on the airsoft scene and have been asking around the sight for places to play. Right now harwood looks like the place. Some buddies and I have been researching and forming a team down in new braunfels where I live. I have an M4 with a laser sight and fore grip which I dropped more money on than i care to think about that I'm having a hard time with. Every thing is working fine, you can hear her firin' up a storm yet the bbs aint coming out of the mag. I'm probably making a beginers mistake and help on the matter would be appreciated. I alo have a G22 and a pistol. My team mates are still gearing up but I'm going to try to be in harwood by the 20th. Hope to share some bbs with yall soon!

What kind of mag do you have? HiCap, MidCap, LoCap?

Is there a gear on the bottom of the mag? If so, you need to wind it up.

My mp5 mags do that some times. I usually bang them around a little after winding them or take it apart and see if anything is jammed up...

Have you tried using someone else's mag to see if it's the mag and not your hop up or no compression from the cylinder?
