Riot shields?

Are riot shields acceptable? Any info on this subject would be nice. ^.^

I think they are in some scenarios, you would have to ask the person hosting the event or if you are hosting it. Let the players know that they can use. Set the rules!

If you've never played airsoft, I'm curious on your motivation regarding the usability of riot shields?

In the airsoft battle, a riot shield seems to be one of the most effective weapons...

I take it by the riot shield question he plays alot of COD Modern Warfare 1 or 2. The riot shield is one of the weapons in #2. That is my guess.

Will a riot shield deflect a real bullet? How about multiple shots from an assault rifle?

Any item that allows you to bunker yourself ends up hindering your ability to move. You can only defend yourself from one side with a shield. And while you're hunkered down behind your "portable wall," I can have the rest of my squad flank you.

Indoors, its even worse. You have seconds to move your butt before I'm standing over your previous position. CQB games are typically measured in seconds.
