The Central Texas Director position is now vacant. Greywolf has been removed from that position by vote of the Board of Directors. Credible evidence of his questionable claims of military service has been presented and no clarification has been made by Greywolf. (Thank you to Zmonster of TCA for his information in this matter). In additional there have been issues with how his position was used in the past when dealing with fields and other entities. The director position is about teaching and promoting safety and giving players a voice with safety concerns. Nothing more. The Central Texas communities have been asked to refer any questions to Bullet or Desertdog for the time being.

TASO will be undergoing some administrative structure changes in the coming months. TASO is a common set of safety rules. Nothing more. The Board of Director's exists to give player communities a voice in changing and adapting those rules.

There have been many over the long years of TASO that have viewed this organization as a method to gain some type of power over airsoft in Texas. Anyone that has held the director position can tell you that it gives one power over precisely nothing. Every community in Texas runs their own websites and their own business. TASO is just a common set of safety rules for us to all use. Many communities have opted for their own ruleset, and that is certainly their prerogative.

This body will keep promoting the message of safe game play. That is it's only mission.
